
In a tragic incident in the city of Villa Carlos Paz, a 36-year-old man lost his life after inhaling glue while installing a carpet at a home on Omaguacas Street at number 80, located in the Costa Azul neighborhood. The victim was found unconscious alongside another 24-year-old who had also inhaled the same chemical product and required urgent medical assistance.
Unfortunately, despite efforts to provide first aid, the 36-year-old man died at the scene. Meanwhile, his 24-year-old companion was immediately taken to Gumersindo Sayago Hospital for medical treatment. According to local reports, both individuals were handling the glue while installing the carpet, which triggered this tragedy.
Local authorities, including the prosecutor's office led by Dr. Jorgelina Gómez, are thoroughly investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. Sergio Chávez, the head of DUAR Punilla, detailed that upon arriving at the home they found the two individuals in an unconscious state. Once outside the house, assistance was provided to stabilize their condition and check their vital signs.
